Avocado Hummus (Latino Butter Hummus)

Ingredients

  • 1 CAN CHICK PEASDRAINED, 15 OZ
  • 2 MEDIUM AVOCADOS RIPE, CORED AND PEELED
  • 3 TBSP OLIVE OIL PLUS MORE FOR SERVING IF DESIRED
  • 1 1/2 TBSP TAHINI
  • 3 TBSP LIME JUICE, FRESHLY SQUEEZED
  • 1 CLOVE GARLIC PEELED
  • SALT TO TASTE
  • PEPPER TO TASTE
  • 1 - 2 TBSP FINELY CHOPPED CILANTRO LEAVES FOR TOPPING
  • CAYENNE PEPPER TO TASTE

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a blender or food processor until smooth.
  2. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Serve topped with 1 teaspoon olive oil and sprinkle with cayenne pepper.
  4. Enjoy with celery sticks, carrots, or tortilla chips for a more indulgent afternoon treat.
